Club Welfare Officer

Southern Judokan Club Welfare Officer

Dear Members,

As of September 2024, we are really lucky to welcome Sarah Roadnight take up the post of Club Welfare Officer, (CWO).

The CWO role is important and needs to be independent.

Sarah's contact details are now on the club e-mail signature strip and attached to all club correspondance.

Please say "Hi" to Sarah when you next see her around the club. The more friendly we are as club - the better!

I will leave the rest of this page for Sarah to write, thank you Sarah,

Yours in Judo,

Dear All,

Hello - I am Sarah!

I have applied for the role of Club Welfare Officer as my daughter has been learning Judo with Michael for a number of years now - she thoroughly enjoys it and is keen for us to try to recruit some more girls into the sport!

I have a long standing professional background in safeguarding at a variety of levels and am happy to be able to support the club.

This page on the BJA website can answer any questions that people may have about what the role is or why its necessary:

I usually attend the club sessions on a Wednesday 17:50-19:00 at Emsworth Community Centre. I look forward to meeting you.

For queries or concerns outside of this time all of my contact details are below.

Thank you. Sarah.
